We will be be honest: we've been looking a lot for the place to build the resort you are reading about now or have already been to " Hypnose Resort by the Sea " .
Ne doream să fie lângă mare, în apropierea unui oraș, dar departe de agitația urbană. Părea o misiune grea, dar nu imposibilă. Pașii ne-au adus prima dată la Vadu în vara anului 1989, iar apoi am revenit aici in fiecare vară a adolescenței noastre. Apoi oricât am încercat să găsim o locație unde să facem acest resort în țară sau în străinătate, pașii ne-au adus MEREU la Vadu. Iar cu 2 ani În urmĂ am demarat construcția acestui proiect de suflet în Raiul de la Vadu. Știam că plaja sălbatică de lângă sat a fost într-un top internațional al celor mai sălbatice plaje din lume. A fost dragoste la prima vedere…NOI ȘI VADU. Iar în 2024 am inaugurat aici proiectul nostru de suflet: Hypnose Resort by the Sea.
The qualities of this village, detached from stories and history, where time passes more slowly? Countless. Disadvantages? We're still looking 🙃, as if nothing matters!
Vadu is a village in the Corbu community, in the north-eastern part of Constanța county, near the coast and the Razim-Sinoe lagoon system.
Until 1926 the locality was called Caraharman because in Vadu there was a medieval fortress, a Turkish fortress apparently built over an older fortification from the Roman era. The Karaharman Fortress (Black Arman) was built in the early 1600s and guarded one of the Black Sea canals to protect Dobrogea from Cossack attacks who tried to reach to Razelm and from there to Babadag, towards Tulcea.
The remains of the fortress now lie under the former Vadu Rare Metals Enterprise built during the communist regime and abandoned after 1989.
Coming back to our days, Vadu had 704 inhabitants at the last census, although we believe that nowadays there are much fewer because we have the feeling that we know all our neighbors, and some of the inhabitants are with us, employees who do a great job and put passion in everything they do. And for that, we thank them.
For those who love the fun or noisy evenings in seaside resorts Vadu could be totally boring or dull. For us and those who choose us as their vacation destination it's the perfect place for relaxation, silence and reconnecting with the inner self.
